Personal Injury Nursing Home Neglect Paralegal

The Rizzuto Law Firm is looking for an energetic Nursing Home Neglect/Personal Injury Paralegal. The successful applicant will be in charge of ensuring that cases are properly signed up, worked up and followed up on. Candidates must have proficiency in drafting pleadings, bills of particulars, discovery, and calendar scheduling. We are currently transitioning our Case Management System from Trial Works (server-based) to Filed Vine (cloud-based). This role requires working on-site in the office. The team has a great atmosphere and there can be potential for growth.

$60,000 annually

YOU will be responsible for 4 things:

• Client development – intake calls & follow-up with existing clients
• Mastering our case management system.
• Meticulous follow-up for potential and existing clients
• Manage a caseload with timely follow-up for records, discovery, and case documents

There are 3 Essential Requirements to work with our team:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Technologically Savvy – consultations, electronic filing, & Docu-Sign, you must be comfortable using technology
• Must be comfortable being part of a high-performing team

• Experience handling personal injury matters from intake to trial preparation, preferably with both legal and paralegal qualifications
• Proficiency in electronic filing
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Previous management experience is highly desirable
• Adept in negotiation techniques
• Ability to drive the firm to higher levels of success
