Electronics Technician - Dallas, TX
 
  1. Modify, maintain, and install PLC programs, troubleshoot PLC problems, and update documentation and wiring.
  2. Install and rearrange machines and mechanical equipment in compliance with building codes.
  3. Dismantle, move, install, and repair conveyors, hoists, and other machinery.
  4. Use measuring devices to ensure proper positioning of machines and equipment.
  5. Analyze wiring diagrams and instructions for repair and installation tasks.
  6. Perform electronic repairs, including circuit modules and printed circuit boards.
  7. Maintain and repair refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, and related equipment.
  8. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and write work orders as needed.
  9. Repair communication and power distribution cables, and perform electrical maintenance.
  10. Maintain inventory and maintenance records for electrical equipment.
  11. Advise staff on equipment procedures and safety protocols.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools and safety gear.
  • Experience in heavy industrial settings, with expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Proficient in programming, troubleshooting, and repairing PLCs and VFDs.
  • Familiarity with various PLC systems, such as Siemens, AllenBradley, and Rockwell.
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical experience in manufacturing or equivalent training.
