Are you ready to illuminate your career with a dynamic and innovative team? Heads Up Technologies is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician who is a self-driven quick learner with positive interpersonal skills to join our team. The Electronics Engineering Technician will be responsible for technical support of product development activities such as testing, troubleshooting, modification, fabrication, assembly, and repair of prototype electro-mechanical products/systems.


Key Details:

· Work Days and Hours: Our normal working hours for Engineering are 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday including a one-hour lunch. Employees are encouraged to use “flex” hours (i.e. arrive between 6:00 and 9:00 am) to accommodate traffic.

· Location: This is an onsite position located in Addison, TX.

· Compensation: Based on background, experience, and comprehensive benefits package.

· Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you’ll do and what will make you successful in this role:

Daily activities include:

· Product Testing/Verification

· Product Modifications/Repairs

· Cable Assembly

· Use of Hand Tools

· Use of Test Equipment

· Multi-tasking

· Soldering/Desoldering

· Reading Schematics

Minimum Requirements:

· Associate degree in Electronics or 4 years in related field.

· Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques.

· Ability to read schematics.

· Soldering experience.

· Proficient with MS Office.


Preferred Qualifications:

· Ability to learn and understand electro-mechanical systems.

· Self-driven with ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

· Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.

· IPC certification.
