We are currently searching for an experienced Talent Sourcing Specialist to support our Talent Acquisition Team. This position can be remote, but preference to someone near Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, AR.; Rockwall, McKinney, Austin TX.; Brentwood, Nashville, TN; Raleigh, NC.; Mobile, AL.


The position may be full time or part time, dependent on experience and availability.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner and communicate with Talent Acquisition on available positions and the requirements of those positions
  • Define and execute sourcing strategies, screen candidates, and present qualified candidates to Talent Acquisition Specialists
  • Source suitable candidates through various job boards and employment sites
  • Perform target searches of direct competitors for mid and senior level roles
  • Draft and send out recruiting emails to potential candidates
  • Make cold calls to potential leads
  • Promote Volkert to candidates on various platforms
  • Develop and define effective engagement strategies for pipelines of passive talent
  • Build and maintain a talent pool that can meet the company’s future hiring needs

What you need to have:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Talent Sourcing Specialist or similar role
  • Previous LinkedIn Recruiter experience
  • Experience with various sourcing tools, job boards, employment sites, and creative Boolean searches
  • Previous cold calling experience or sales experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and attract passive talent.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining multiple active pipelines of talent across multiple functional areas.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Preference for experience sourcing for a variety of functional areas not limited to but including, Civil Engineering, Program Management, Construction Engineering & Inspection, Planning, Environmental, Marketing, and Accounting
  • Characteristics of a successful Volkert team member:
