Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaintenance Technician: MoldingThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs on injection molding equipment, robots, adjustments, maintenance, repair and operations of various types of assembly, subassembly, printing, and/or packaging machines. The company scope includes scientific injection molding processing operations and automation equipment in the manufacture of components and devices into FDA regulated markets. This is a high-speed and a controlled manufacturing environment (CME).Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions
  • Read, use and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools.
  • Perform all required necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
  • Actively participate on teams and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Answer machine alarms as they occur and identify and address the root cause.
Preferred/Required Education/Skills:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required
  2. Must have 3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on position
  3. Strong math, reading and communication skills required
  4. Experience with injection molding required
  5. Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (AB, Koyo, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.)
  6. Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics required
  7. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications required and SAP experience preferred
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have 3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on position
  • Experience with injection molding required
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (AB, Koyo, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.)
