Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverviewJoin a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge scientific and medical devices, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our state-of-the-art injection molding and automation equipment. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our high-precision machinery, troubleshooting, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Shift: 1st ShiftPay: $30-$36/hour (experience dependent)
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on injection molding equipment, robots, assembly machines, printing, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions across various machines.
- Repair and maintain electrical controls, including servicing, adjusting, and testing machines and devices based on electronic principles.
- Repair and calibrate robot arms, controls, and pick-and-place locations.
- Conduct Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities as required.
- Monitor processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to address them.
- Perform root cause analysis for safety, quality, and processing issues.
- Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and safety in the work environment.
- Comply with all company policies, including 5S guidelines and Lock Out/Tag Out rules.
- Fluently operate presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel and external technical support for troubleshooting and brainstorming solutions.
Preferred/Required Education/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on position.
- Experience with injection molding required.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Koyo, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.).
- Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics required.
