Mechanic w/ Wiring and Hydraulics - Tulsa, OK

Temp to Hire

$20- $24 per hour

Mon-Fri - 8-5

Qualifications:

  • Must have a good understanding of DC wiring and be able to read wiring diagrams

  • Hydraulics – Installing PTO/Pumps, Building high and low pressure hydraulic hoses, and installing hydraulic tanks on trucks.

  • Candidate will need to have an understanding of air systems (Brakes, Suspension, Air Controls) for large trucks.

  • Candidate should have the ability to install equipment on newly painted surfaces without causing damage and re-work.

The candidate should be physically able to lift 50 to 100 lbs, work in non-airconditioned shops during the summer months, and be able to multi-task.

* Rebuild gas or diesel engines.
* Specialize in repairing and maintaining parts of the engine, such as fuel injection systems.
* Install or repair accessories.
* Repair or adjust seats, doors, or windows.
* Align front ends and suspension systems.
* Maintain or repair vehicles with alternative fuel systems, including biodiesel, hybrid, or compressed natural gas vehicles.

* Install or repair accessories.
* Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves.

* Maintain or repair vehicles with alternative fuel systems, including biodiesel, hybrid, or compressed natural gas vehicles.
* Follow green operational practices involving conservation of water or energy or reduction of solid waste.
* Operate valve-grinding machines to grind and reset valves.
