Accounts Payable Clerk

Balance Health is the nation’s premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice, and we continue to grow rapidly throughout the US. We have an immediate need to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for performing a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions and ensure the company’s daily accounting functions run smoothly, accurately and efficiently. This role is open to candidates in CA, AZ, TX, CO, IL, WI, MI, FL, SC, and VA.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis.
Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
Perform monthly reconciliations.
Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform data entry associated with accounts payable.
Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
Audit and process credit card bills.
Address and respond to vendor inquiries.

Required:
High school diploma. Associate degree in accounting preferred.
2-3 years' experience with accounts payable or general accounting
Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
High degree of attention to detail
Ability to work independently at times and prioritize tasks.
Strong analytic abilities
Ability to thrive in a team setting.
Compensation / Benefits:
- Competitive salary will depend on relevant experience level.
- Benefit eligibility for FT employees working 30+hours weekly begin the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
- Eligibility to participate in our 401(k) program begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
