About the Role

As a Reservations Assistant/Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless experience from reservation to check-out. Your role will involve managing reservations, assisting guests with their inquiries, and providing personalised service to enhance their stay. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Working Hours
  • 5-day working week

  • 40 hours per week

  • Shift work, including weekends and Bank holidays

Key Duties
  • Manage guest reservations efficiently using the hotel's booking system

  • Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person

  • Provide detailed information about the hotel's services, facilities, and local attractions

  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes

  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

  • Proficiency in using reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding service
