Job Description

The mission of the OFR is to support the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) in promoting financial stability by: collecting data on behalf of FSOC; providing such data to FSOC and member agencies; standardizing the types and formats of data reported and collected; performing applied research and essential long-term research; developing tools for risk measurement and monitoring; performing other related services; making the results of the activities of the OFR available to financial regulatory agencies; and assisting such member agencies in determining the types of formats of data authorized to be collected by such member agencies.


Responsibilities

Assist in applying common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations. Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components, and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed.

Typical areas addressed include Human Resources, Finance, Supply, and operations. Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional areas ability to support/meet organizational goals. Generate functional area strategies for enhanced operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization. Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products, implementations coordinating the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks. Commensurate experience and education.

Oversee all aspects of the planning project, leading BA team on large and complex projects.


Education and experience required:

• 15+ years of practical project experience working as a business analyst.
• Deep understanding of Government operations, including the business, processes, research, and data.
• Very strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in building engaging relationships with technical and non-technical teams.
• Practical, current experience with Agile methodologies.

Certifications required:

• Required to hold one of the following certifications.
o PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
o CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
• Preference given for certifications.
o Knowledge Management
o Change Management Preference
o Six Sigma (Black Belt)
