What would you do as a Loss Prevention Specialist

As a new Loss Prevention Specialist at Mercantile Bank, you can expect a dynamic role that involves conducting regular security assessments, monitoring surveillance systems, and investigating incidents of fraud or theft. Your day-to-day tasks may include collaborating with different departments to implement security measures, analyzing data to identify potential risks, and preparing detailed reports on security findings. You will be responsible for enforcing company security policies and procedures, as well as providing support in training employees on security awareness.

This Monday to Friday position offers a consistent schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to our team's success. Join us and be a part of our dedicated Loss Prevention team

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Loss Prevention Specialist at Mercantile Bank, you should possess strong analytical skills to effectively assess security risks and identify potential threats. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as you will need to meticulously review surveillance footage and security protocols. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with various teams and providing clear reports on security incidents.

A proactive and problem-solving mindset will aid you in implementing preventive measures and responding promptly to security breaches.
