Position Summary:

Directly oversee, manage, and coordinate the activities of electricians, apprentices, helpers, and temporary workers.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead by example and implement quality control measures.
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and provide documents such as Jobsite Safety Analysis, Jobsite Hazard Analysis, and safety reports.
  • Interpret and track project schedules to offer two-week forecasts and manpower requirements based on project goals.
  • Read specifications and blueprints to plan procedures and determine construction needs.
  • Maintain basic computer skills.
  • Track and complete weekly timesheets using an IPAD or computer tablet.
  • Manage and request materials and supplies.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to electricians, apprentices, helpers, and temporary workers.
  • Collaborate with management, trade partners, other departments, and contractors to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
  • Locate, measure, and mark site locations for structures and equipment using measuring and marking tools.
  • Analyze worker performance, identify potential production problems, and recommend solutions, such as improving methods or implementing motivational plans.
  • Train workers in construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Meet all requirements as an electrician and perform tasks typically assigned to electricians.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training and Certifications

- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (G.E.D)
- Licensure as an electrician OR
- 4-10 years related experience or equivalent knowledge and experience


Working Conditions
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (Hard hat, vest, protective eyewear, safety boots.)
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements of cold, heat, moisture, and wind.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements and background screening process.
