Summary

The Preschool Center is a nurturing and dynamic preschool dedicated to providing a stimulating and creative learning environment for young minds. We take pride in our commitment to early childhood education and are currently seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. If you are passionate about working with 3 and 4-year-olds, have a love for teaching, and enjoy fostering a child's development, we want to hear from you. The position is part-time, with current hours on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00-3:00 PM. If you are seeking additional hours, there is a possibility of more becoming available, which could be Monday-Friday, totaling around 29 hours per week. Duties

Responsibilities:

-Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for 3 and 4-year-old children.
-Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and exploration.
-Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
-Engage with children through play, storytelling, and various educational activities.
-Help with daily routines.
-Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate findings with the head teacher.
-Collaborate with the head teacher and other staff members to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.

Requirements

-Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus).
-Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
-A passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to support children's growth and development.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
-Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices.
-CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
-Background check and fingerprinted required

Benefits
