Our busy sleep apnea and TMJ practice needs an upbeat individual to set the expectations for appointments and assure our patients their visits will go as smoothly as possible. This position is perfect for someone who can multitask and enjoys interacting with different people.
  You’ll have the ability to develop your skills through on-site training, continued education, and with each patient/family interaction. This position offers you an opportunity for stability with a career in healthcare.
NO Experience Needed:
 Prior dental or medical office experience is a plus, but it’s certainly not required. We offer paid training for the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning
Some of your duties will include:
-  Use your friendliest and upbeat phone voice to answer incoming calls, take messages, complete outreach to patients (re-engagement required)
-  Pleasantly answer questions and make appointments for existing and potential clients
- Present treatment plans and give estimates of treatment costs in an effective manner
- Accurately maintain EMR database including documenting all call information
- Check patient’s Insurance benefits and breakdowns.
- Explain, promote, and adhere to company payment policies and procedures
- Obtain high treatment acceptance by explaining the costs, insurance coverage, and payment options
- Respond to doctor, patient and employee grievances, complaints, and inquiries and seeks assistance when necessary
- Manage employee relations, track and order office/medical supplies, review and revise office procedures
 - Verifying patient medical history, receive payment for services, and review additional costs and fees 
-  Understand and respect patient privacy laws      
-  Occasionally participate in practice-sponsored events, supporting our strong and positive reputation in the community
-  Review and organize patient medical charts for accuracy and authenticity, 
-  Correspond with other medical offices to obtain necessary documents for patients.
 Our growing practice needs a reliable and dedicated professional to become a vital member, playing a crucial role in guiding patients through their wellness journey.

- You understand basic medical insurance terminology and experience verifying benefits.
- Demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and to resolve conflict effectively; strong listening skills are required.
- You’re quick on your feet and hardworking.
- You are comfortable with technology and open to learning new applications and software, you’ll harness the tools around you to make your job as easy or effortless as possible.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a MUST, while being able to maintain a caring and professional demeanor.  
- You can get along great with anybody, are full of energy and people feel charged up just being around you.
- You are attentive, detail-oriented, organized, and your work reflects all of these characteristics.
- You’re known for doing what you say you’re going to do –Your reputation for honesty and integrity is legendary.
- You don’t know the meaning of “someone else’s problem” or “that’s not my job.”
You’re always willing to jump in and help.
