Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHendersonville Pediatrics, with offices in Hendersonville and Brevard, NC, is seeking a fully licensed mental health clinician (i.e., licensed psychologist, LPA, LCSW, LPC, LCMHC, LMFT) with familiarity with integrated behavioral healthcare or primary care psychology to begin immediately. The behavioral health provider will offer brief screening and outpatient therapy to Hendersonville Pediatrics patients ages birth to 18 as an independent contracted member of our integrated care team.

Hendersonville Pediatrics is a private, general community pediatric practice with two offices serving families of Henderson, Transylvania and surrounding counties. Located in the beautiful mountain communities, it is just south of Asheville, NC and 60 miles from Greenville, SC.

Founded over 70 years ago, Hendersonville Pediatrics has grown along with the population and development of the region. The practice now has 11 pediatricians, over 10,000 active patients, and approximately 41,000 patient encounters each year. It is diverse with large percentages of commercially insured and Medicaid patients and is a significant influencer in the region on behalf of healthy children and families. The practice is a recognized top-tier performer by major payers, local health systems, and industry agencies for consistently high-quality outcomes and effective quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
  • Common reasons for referrals include anxiety, behavior, ADHD, depression, sleep difficulties, toileting or bedwetting, picky eating, habit behaviors, anger/family conflict, school related challenges, and many others.
  • The opportunity to offer psychological assessments for Autism is also available for qualified and interested candidates.
  • Applicants must be fully licensed, have a masters or doctoral degree from an accredited program, and be licensed eligible in the state of North Carolina.
  • The practice provides office space, referrals, scheduling, electronic medical record, and billing support in exchange for a competitive overhead fee.
  • This position offers the opportunity to create or supplement a private practice within the support and team-based integration of a pediatric practice.

Licensed or licensure eligible in the state of North Carolina
Fully licensed mental health clinician in one of the following: licensed psychologist, LPA, LCSW, LPC, LCMHC, LMFT
