As the Full Time START/CSIDD Director at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating linkage agreements, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and delivering reports to the Advisory Council. This position offers the opportunity to engage in comprehensive training to become a Certified START Coordinator, enhancing your skill set and expertise in the field. Your responsibilities will include supervising key staff members such as the Clinical Director, Resource Center Director, Team Leads, and the Medical Director, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration within our programs. Requirements for this START/CSIDD Director job

To excel as the Full Time START/CSIDD Director at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler, candidates must possess a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field, coupled with at least two years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Additionally, successful applicants will have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience and a proven track record of collaborating with community service systems.

It is essential for candidates to either hold a certification as a START Coordinator or demonstrate the ability to complete the START Coordination Certification Process within 6-12 months of hire. These qualifications are key to ensuring the effective leadership and coordination of our programs in Buffalo, NY.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

-A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology Counseling or other Human Services

Field with two years' experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental

Disabilities (I/DD).

-Two years supervisory experience.

-Experience collaborating with community service systems.

-->Must be a certified START Coordinator or have the ability to complete the START
