Description
Our accounting assistant will assist with a variety of accounting duties requiring the ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute customer invoices
- Process Accounts Receivable payments
- Research short pays and follow up with sales dept. and or customers
- Assist with customer requests on billing issues
- Monitor Accounts Receivables aging report & follow up with calls on delinquent accounts
- Reconciling various accounts under Controller's direction
- Prepare internally used spread sheets & reports at Controller's discretion
- Maintaining all accounting files
- Administrative duties, which may include: answering phones, filing, inputting data and creating a variety of Word and Excel documents
- Provide backup for key roles in customer service and sales ops.
- Comp - $20 - $25 hourly - depending on experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt
Requirements

- Proficiency in using NetSuite desired.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
