Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPackaging Associate – Monroe, WisconsinOur customer in Monroe, Wisconsin is an award-winning food manufacturer seeking hard-working individuals to join their family-owned business. As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for packaging and inspecting food, as well as sanitizing the working area to ensure products are meeting top quality standards. Responsibilities of the Packaging Associate:
  • Load the product into package processing equipment.
  • Verify and record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Sort, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
  • Verify accuracy and correctness of product identification labels and attach to finished packaged items.
  • Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.
  • Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
  • Palletize packaged product. Move pallets of cheese and totes in and out of production areas.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
  • Tend or operate machine that packages product.
Packaging Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in cool temperatures.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or packaging preferred.
  • Previous machine operator experiences helpful.
  • Read, write and speak English.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Capability of standing during the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
Pay for Packaging Associate: Starting at $19/hr. plus $2/hr. shift premium. Packaging Associate Benefits:
