Currently, we are seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Gwinnett County, GA.


Job Description:

The Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the property, including monitoring, maintaining, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on hotel property and equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the building and grounds by removing trash/debris and cleaning exterior surfaces.
  • Ensure vacant rooms are in good repair, including walls, appliances, furniture, and carpets.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as drywall repairs, painting, and general repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms as scheduled.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and emergency calls.
  • Maintain interior hallway carpets.
  • Report safety or security issues immediately to the supervisor.
  • Address guest concerns as needed.
  • Complete daily paperwork and reconcile with the supervisor.
  • Perform duties as outlined in the Property Attendant role when required.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of air conditioning, electrical systems, and general maintenance repairs.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in stressful situations.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and other physical activities.
  • Ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Capability to work at heights up to 30 feet and on uneven surfaces.
