We are seeking a skilled Medical Director/Outpatient Pediatrician to lead in an outpatient pediatric practice located in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will oversee and direct the clinical activities of our practice, providing leadership to physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff. Your responsibilities will include operational oversight, policy development and implementation, active clinical practice, educational program development, and mentoring of clinical staff. You will play a crucial role in Quality Improvement initiatives and be involved in the recruitment of clinical personnel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and oversee daily clinical operations of the outpatient pediatric practice.
- Provide leadership and guidance on operational issues and policy design/implementation.
- Maintain an active role in pediatric clinical practice within the clinic.
- Develop and implement educational programs for clinical staff.
- Mentor and train physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical personnel.
- Lead Quality Improvement efforts to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff, including physicians and nurse practitioners.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency program.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in outpatient pediatric practice.
- At least 3 years of experience in practice leadership and change management.
