We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, moving, and organizing materials within our warehouse and production areas to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
  • Move materials to appropriate storage areas or production lines using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory counts.
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to fulfill production and shipping requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
