As a Preschool Teacher at APrimrose School of Danville, youll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop childrens confidence and independence. Youll help guide these little ones through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.

• Vacation (Year 1 to end of 3rd year, 5 days each year, Beginning Year 4 to end of 5th year, 10 days a year and Beginning Year 6 onwards, 15 days each year)

Education Requirements:

• 12 core semester units in early childhood education/development semester units
• 6 months experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program.

• Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
