Overview:

The DNC is seeking a Program Development Manager to support the various functions of the Battleground States Program Development Team. The manager will be tasked with drafting complex structures, processes, and outcomes for varying groups in the states and at HQ. The manager will report to the Program Development Director. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational and planning aspects of program development.
  • Coordinate with the director to support states planning, budgeting processes, and other states programs.
  • Work with team members to ensure timely completion of program deliverables.
  • Provide input into the development of phase program initiatives and tactics.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels. 
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Ability to handle projects with the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure with humor and grace. 
  • A team player that recognizes the importance of working collaboratively.  
 

Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience on a political campaign. 
  • Prior experience building and managing large programs.



The salary for this position is $65,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience. This is a cycle hire position with an end date of November, 15, 2024. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
