Summary:
Summary
The Transportation Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by managing the Easterseals vehicle fleet, ensuring sound and comprehensive record keeping, and supporting program outings with Easterseals vehicles.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Transportation Coordinator or similar role.
Familiarity with safety regulations and transportation procedures in Florida.
CPR/First Aid certification (can be completed upon hire).

Position Requirements
Maintain Easterseals vehicle fleet ensuring state and local standards and Transportation Operating Procedures (TOP) are consistently in compliance.
o Maintain vehicle and wheelchair lifts according to manufacturer's guidelines.
o Schedule and complete all required FDOT vehicle and wheelchair lift inspections.
o Coordinate all vehicle maintenance including follow-up on repairs, cleaning or preventative maintenance according to the TOP and/or reports from drivers.
o Schedule and coordinate all MCAT vehicle inspections and any ride-alongs.
Maintain transportation records and reports in conjunction with local, state, and federal regulations.
o Review transportation pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
o Compile and maintain all trip and mileage information necessary to complete Annual Operating Report (AOR).
o Complete monthly Transportation metrics.
o Revise and maintain System Safety Program Plan (SSPP) and Preventative Maintenance annually.
o Revise and maintain Transportation Operating Procedure (TOP) annually with Director of Facilities and Transportation.
o Conduct internal audit quarterly to ensure all documentation is current and ready for audit.
Support the Director of Facilities and Transportation on annual driver training and in-service sessions.
o Maintain all driver paperwork and training records.
o Train new drivers annually, or as needed.
o Provide ongoing retraining or updated training as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
