Position Summary: This position is responsible for inputting accurate container counts, maintaining proper harvester workmanship, proper separation of containers and order fulfillment.

Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with Harvesting Management with requests for days off.
  • Must get an actual count the containers and enter the information accurately in the I-Harvest tablets.
  • Prior to taking a lunch, must make sure all containers are out of the house.
  • Must review all the containers for workmanship and in-weights. Extraneous material, sizing, miscuts, etc.
  • Houses need to be checked prior to moving to the next house to ensure proper harvesting procedures have been followed.
  • Must understand and enforce company safety and food safety standards.
  • Must arrive at least 15 minutes before the harvester start time to get the mushroom orders and prepare harvesting area.
  • Mushroom containers are being separated and stacked according to grade and size.
  • Needs to immediately report to Harvesting Management any social or physical issues with the team.
  • Make sure picking tickets are put into each container except for the opens.
  • Responsible for making sure all orders are complete.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Must comprehend how to correctly use the I-harvest system.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Take direction and follow through with tasks assigned.
