Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 30-40 hours per week

The Administrative Assistant has responsibility for all clerical aspects of the Clinical Services Division. The AA provides support and assistance to the Clinical Leadership Team, Clinical Providers, and Care Management department.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all records throughout the referral process for Care Management for High-Risk Pregnancy (CMHRP) and Care Management for At-Risk Children (CMARC) including program specific logs, process referrals through Virtual Health, verify member information and create new member records
  • Process maternity delivery information received from Atrium Cabarrus
  • Coordinate logistics and complete meeting minutes for Divisional Conference, Clinical Leadership, Provider meetings, and other meetings when needed
  • Assist with processing purchase, payment, and travel requests for the Clinical Services Division
  • Oversee the Newborn Postpartum referral process including verification of Medicaid, update program logs, create CureMD account, and bill for services provided
  • Provide additional clerical support for Clinical Services Division

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. One to two years of administrative assistant experience. Experience in public health or healthcare setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher
  • Possess ability to project a positive image to staff and maintain professional interactions with public, client, agency personnel, and other community professionals
  • Must have excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to organize workflow and coordinate activities
