Pavement Marking Equipment Technician

Our offerings include traffic control, pavement marking, construction and roadway signage, traffic control devices, personal protective equipment, and graphic design services.
The Company is looking for independent, dependable, energetic, highly motivated, hard-working team members with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
JOB DUTIES:
- Installation of data logging equipment and wiring on pavement marking trucks.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting data logging equipment.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting pavement marking systems.
- General specialty equipment maintenance (paint gun rebuild, pump rebuild, etc.)
- Utilization of retro-reflectometer to measure reflectivity of pavement markings for various jobs.
- Compile information and create reports outlining the pavement marking reflectivity performance of various jobs.
- Assist crews to configure pavement marking trucks in best configuration to achieve appropriate retroreflectivity, performance, and efficiency.
- Utilization of Plasma table (will train)
- Occasional welding (Mig and Tig)
- Utilization of CAD software (will train)
- Learn and understand applicable specifications as they are related to each job.
- Assist in design and assembly of pavement marking trucks.
- Typical shift is 7am-5pm
- On-call time will be required, duties split between yourself and one other person.
- Some travel may be required (4 times a year).
- Continuously lifting 50 – 100lbs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required) - A&A Safety offers opportunities for CDL training to employees who are qualified and motivated.
- Mechanical and/or electrical background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- High school diploma or GED
