A Day in the Life of a Leasing Agent

HomeRiver Group is searching for a Full-Time Leasing Agent. As our Leasing Agent you will be responsible for the leasing performance of assigned markets, communities, and properties. You will respond to all incoming leads/requests through calls, texts or email for information within a reasonable time frame. You will manage the workload and communicate with your Regional Leasing Manager with sufficient feedback on listings (pricing, conditions or etc). You will ensure all future and new residents are fully informed of all responsibilities as well as all benefits and options available to them. (RBP, RUBS, Rhino, etc.) You will Keep internal and external business partners (RLM, PM, RM, Senior Leadership Executives) fully informed of all problems and matters of significance ensuring proactive action is taken when appropriate. Analyze market data to understand the position of each asset in its respective market from leasing, investment perspective and any underlying factors that may influence it such as public infrastructure, employment and education bases, rental comps, etc. Lastly, you will facilitate, coordinate with applicants, future residents, internal business partners and provide feedback in the development of marketing plans for new community homes while generating move-in lease signing and security deposit collections.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or Equivalent Required
• Real Estate License in Multiple States (Preferred)
• Knowledge of local housing ordinances and eviction procedures
• Complete understanding of fair housing laws
• Excellent ability to communicate with others and effectively work as part of a team remotely
• Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn new software
• Knowledge of rental property management standards and practices
