Responsibilities for shipping/receiving


  • Retrieve requested products from the warehouse
  • Input all shipments into the computer
  • Ship small parcels via UPS and FedEx and large shipments via LTL
  • Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by the supervisor
  • Count items to ensure that the correct number has been received
  • Match order information in order cards with information on picked items to ensure conformity
  • Coordinating, loading, and unloading shipments and receipts
  • This is primarily a shipping and receiving position that will be lifting up to 75 lbs regularly, operating forklift and pallet jacks (both powered and non-powered), and entering data into a computer
  • Unload shipments throughout the day that come in daily


Qualifications for shipping/receiving


  • Willingness to learn systems
  • Count and order skids, boxes, pkg
  • Label materials
  • Collect paperwork on closed orders
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Able to read, write and speak English
  • Knowledge of or experience with warehouse equipment operation (Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Order Picker) is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
