We are looking for candidates for two of our office locations: Green Bay and Madison, WI.


JT is riding an exciting wave of growth, and we are looking for a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to bring their talents to our dynamic Transportation team in our Green Bay and Madison, WI area office locations. As a Civil Engineering Technician your days will be spent:

  • Utilizing your engineering knowledge to complete project tasks under the direction of senior staff
  • Collaborating with colleagues and embracing JT’s values and culture
  • Developing client and stakeholder relationships within the industry
  • Communicating effectively internally and externally
  • Performing quality work within established guidelines
  • Assisting with the development and management of project budgets
  • Interpreting and adhering to internal Quality Control processes

To excel from day one, you’ll need:

  • Associate degree in civil engineering, civil technology, surveying, construction management, or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of survey and material testing equipment (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, and AASHTOWare Project (preferred)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
  • To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
  • To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work
