Pay Schedule: Weekly
Pay Range: $20 - $23 an hour based on Security Experience
Security Experienced Required 3 to 5 years 
Hinson Security Services LLC is looking for a Supervisor-Security Officer to join our team. The Supervisor is responsible for employees, training, and protecting the client on the assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.  
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills and previous surveillance experience, preferably in a law enforcement environment.  This person should have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and a superb attention to detail.
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Security Supervisor carries out supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following: training new employees, planning, assigning and directing work duties on site, coaching and appraising work performances, disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems; making termination recommendations. Security Supervisor will manage shifts in the absence of a security guard. The position is an essential operating position(s) and as such, may be required to remain on and/or report for duty during declared emergencies or when necessary to support operational needs. Declared emergencies will be defined by the Director of Security Operations or appropriate management.
Responsibilities: 
  • Respond to open shifts; able to work extended hours when needed
  • Manage employees on site to ensure job duties are being performed properly
  • Communicate with Director of Security Operations daily and weekly regarding officer's performance
  • Prepares and submits various reports as required
  • Assist and manages site schedule
  • Document any irregularities on daily shift reports, incident reports, violation reports, injury forms 
  • Assist in the training of security guards and review post orders ensuring security guards have competent knowledge of assignments.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to Stand for long periods of time eight hours
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, must be comfortable working in cold and hot weather conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Security Officer experienced preferred with 3-4 years
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary  


Knowledge:
  • 5 years of experience in security, military, or other public security experience
  • 3 years of supervisory experience within the last 5 years
  • Traffic control experience
