Branford, United States Center for NeuroPotential Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Join Our Dynamic Team Of Trauma Therapists

Do you have a passion for helping people and working with PTSD/Trauma?

We are looking for a fully licensed Psychotherapist with a strong desire to specialize in trauma treatment. The ideal candidate must have advanced training or be willing to undergo training in evidence-based therapies including:

  • Brain-based treatment such as EMDR
  • Ego States Work/IFS
  • Somatic-based treatment

If you are a dynamic, motivated, ethical, client-centered therapist, our practice will be a place where you can grow and flourish. Center for NeuroPotential is seeking candidates who are in alignment with our values of Growth Mindset, Respect, Transformative Change, Integrity, Teamwork, and Being Present and Engaged.

We provide administrative and billing support to our clinicians so you can focus on providing the highest level of care without distractions

We are a compassionate group practice with experienced clinicians who have a passion for helping people, particularly those with trauma. In addition to evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy, we also provide neurofeedback. Due to our excellent reputation, the Center for NeuroPotential receives referrals from physicians and other mental health clinicians from all over the state.

The position is primarily in-person with limited telehealth appointments. We will train you on how to ethically and effectively provide trauma-informed therapy (including EMDR) via telehealth.

Clients are highly motivated to heal. Each potential new patient is screened during a phone consultation to ensure that we are a good fit for them and that they are a good fit for the practice. Because of this screening, our clinicians have a high retention rate and can successfully treat and discharge patients.

Please note, this is not a temporary or short-term position. We are looking for clinicians who want the Center for NeuroPotential to be their "clinical home" where they can grow and flourish professionally.

We Provide:

  • Competitive compensation, based on the level of experience
  • Benefits include paid time off and health insurance for qualifying employees
  • A supportive environment to minimize stress, allowing you to focus on providing care
  • Marketing to your ideal client to keep a steady stream of referrals
  • Billing and credentialing
  • Administrative support, such as scheduling and returning phone calls
  • Work schedule flexibility
  • Continuing education stipend
  • Commitment to your job satisfaction and career growth
  • Individual and group case consultation
Compensation:

$35 - $45 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic counseling to clients using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
  • Accurately document client information using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues through participation in clinical consultations and team rounds.
  • Continuously enhance professional development by learning new treatments, such as neurofeedback.
  • Evaluate patient progress during neurofeedback appointments.
  • Maintain promptness and efficiency in all job duties.
  • Consistently fulfill job obligations with reliability.
Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Connecticut.
  • Must possess specialized knowledge and extensive experience in treating trauma.
