Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Description: This position is for a 2nd shift welder. Hours are: 3pm-1:30am, Mon-Thurs. Friday is a 10 hour shift and is mandatory right now.

Must haves:

  • 3-5 years welding and fabrication background
  • Must be able to read tape measure
  • 1 year Computer experience, Outlook/Email
  • Good communication and teamwork

Perform specialty welding tasks on:

  • Spool pieces, flanges, etc.
  • All welds will be MIG.
  • Weld outlets onto carbon steel pipe.
  • Inspect work for defects,
  • Alignment of fittings
  • Checking the end groves for proper depth,
  • Check for bad seems splits in pipe.
  • Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to all the safety and quality standards.
  • Report all equipment malfunctions, safety issues that requires repairs.
  • General reading and writing as well as some computer skills. (all training is on online in workday.

This position is required to have a weld test performed during the interview. Please bring welding hood and PPE to perform weld test.

Weld test/interviews are a minimum of 2 hours on site.
