Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified laborers and equipment operators.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, industry networks, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and schedule in-person interviews with hiring managers.
- Candidate Engagement:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
- Develop strong relationships with candidates to understand their skills, experience, and career goals.
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Job Advertising:

- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the construction, utility, or oil and gas sectors.
- Strong knowledge of laborer and equipment operator roles and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent “soft skills”, ability to speak to people of all walks of life with respect.
- Familiarity with local labor market trends and regulations.
- Previous experience using social media, ATS, and other tools necessary for recruiting.
- Previous customer service or other direct “working with the public” roles.
