As a Sheet Metal Apprentice you will represent Accurate Mechanical by providing high quality customer service while working efficiently and in a positive manner with the customer and co-workers.


Duties and responsibilities

These duties are not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned at any given time, based on the assigned job.

  • Follow directions from lead installer/journeyman in order to complete each job effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist lead installer- lead and retain basic installation procedures
  • Clear understanding of Accurate’s mission, culture, company policies and work expectations
  • Learn how to properly use UL tape and/or duct sealant to seal duct and pipe
  • Attend regular training classes
  • Properly complete time cards weekly

Requirements:

Qualifications include:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have a reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Punctual: will report to work on time for all scheduled shifts.
  • Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 certification
  • Great work ethic
  • Positive attitude

Installers and technicians are subject to work in indoor and outdoor conditions. Those could include, but are not limited to; heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow. Installers and technicians are also subject to work in cramped, tight, dirty spaces or would be required to climb ladders.
