Position Summary:
VBG is looking for a dynamic trust-building and engaging People Operations Business Partner to play a pivotal role in our People Operations team. In this role, you will work directly with leadership and staff members on a range of activities to include benefits, individual and employment related concerns and troubleshooting, ensure compliance with employment practices and lead initiatives that enhance employee relations, performance management, and professional development. This position is essential in fostering a culture of engagement, continuous learning and aligning human resources strategies with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and consult with team members and managers on wage and benefits administration, compliance, coaching, and performance management.
- Resolve employee relations issues efficiently and effectively, providing guidance on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business success.
- Identify and prioritize training needs, collaborating with department heads to enhance professional growth across the organization.
- Manage HR metrics and reporting, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and providing actionable insights.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (4-year degree) in human resources or closely related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive human resources generalist experience working with both salary and hourly staff.
- Models' professional behavior and displays adherence to company policies and core values.
- Demonstrated history of establishing, maintaining and nurturing successful strategic business partner relationships with all levels of leadership.
- Strong experience conducting fair, impartial and thorough internal investigations on performance and behavioral issues at all levels.
- History of a collaborative partnership with internal training and development staff.
- Strong, recent knowledge of Federal, Nevada and California labor/employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to expert skills in HRIS systems.
- The ability to generate and interpret reports utilizing sound analytical tools and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human resources or related field.
- Recent successful experience with a hybrid (office/remote) workforce.
- Current SHRM membership with an active PHR or SPHR
- Recent experience as a Human Resources Business Partner in an inbound/outbound contact or processing center with a strong focus on soft sales and customer service.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership to drive Human Resources initiatives.
