Ecommerce Inside Sales Associate

Position Summary:

The Ecommerce Inside Sales Associate will engage with our online customers to fulfill their needs by providing exceptional service and product information resulting in the sale of our products and services. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can communicate with all appropriate internal departments and external vendors to ensure accurate product, price and delivery of material to our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Sell to online customers (customers with no accounts) through digital communication (email, chat, phone), discussing their specific requirements, product information, pricing, and timeframes for product delivery.
  • Process online orders and perform quotes in the ERP (Eclipse Sales Order Entry).
  • Provide customer’s technical information received from internal resources or from the manufacturer.
  • Communicate with manufacturers to source materials and quote for material that are not stocked items.
  • Solve customer problems including but not limited to lost shipments, damaged items, emergency needs, and billing issues.
  • Collaborate with the expeditors and other internal departments to ensure a prompt, accurate delivery.
  • Maintain product and industry knowledge enabling better communication and greater sales with the customer.
  • Notify customers of sales and special promotions that may benefit them and generate additional sales.
  • Track customer sales order follow-up, voicemails, open orders and customer files as needed.
  • Maintain Weekly Open Order Report and keep up to date on all ERP trackers.
  • Process Credit Card Sales according to company policies.
  • Identify any pricing discrepancies and work with the pricing department to continuously have pricing updated for web cash customers.
  • Meets or exceeds ecommerce sales budget by proactively seeking new business and participating in selling programs and promotions.
  • Work closely with all internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of Eclipse ERP

· 2-3 years counter sales experience preferred.

· Microsoft Suite Proficiency.

· Minimum High School Diploma; Associate degree or equivalent education preferred.
