The Associate Manager, E-commerce will work in coordination with the Data Manager, reporting to the Managing Director to execute strategy and oversee all aspects of the US e-commerce business. This role will lead the day-to-day operations of the websites, ensuring alignment with overall business goals, and focusing on sales growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency. The position requires a combination of analytical, strategic, and creative thinking skills to manage revenue goals while staying ahead of industry and channel trends. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of e-commerce helping to transition all 3 websites from SFCC to Shopify in an upcoming migration.


This position will work closely with the Data Manager to deliver and achieve overall strategic and business objectives for the Peter Thomas Roth, June Jacobs, and Naturally Serious sites. Further, this position will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing, Creative, Production, Finance, Customer Service, and more.


This position will report directly to the Managing Director.


Responsibilities:

Strategy and Sales Goals:

  • with the inventory team to develop a sales & inventory plan that increases channel growth and profitability.
  • forecasting for saleable, non-saleable, and sample SKUs to support aggressive sales plans.
  • the day-to-day effectiveness of content display merchandising, navigation, search functionality, and product presentation to maximize customer experience.
  • seasonal eCommerce strategy and ensure all projects support the overall brand strategy and contribute to online channel growth.
  • business analysis of all programs and establish programs to drive continuous improvement and increase sales.
  • all data points and create reporting that conveys the data to marketing, sales, and operational teams as well as management.
  • and drive the eCommerce feature and functionality roadmap.
  • and execute a business strategy that optimizes traffic and conversion.
  • ongoing tracking and analysis of customer on-site behavior with regular review and measurement of site analytics.


Digital Marketing & Promotions:

  • and distribute US brand.com marketing calendars, including programming and site refreshes.
  • site merchandising and optimization, delivering a high-touch frictionless shopping experience that drives customer engagement and conversion.
  • online exclusive content, enabling a best-in-class experience for the consumer while meeting/exceeding the monthly sales plan.
  • customer database through targeted and highly innovative customer acquisition campaigns.
  • with Sales Planning and Supply Chain to maintain appropriate sell-through and merchandising of limited-life items and forecasting of new product launches.


Qualifications:

  • Must have 3+ years of eCommerce/Marketing experience in the cosmetics industry.
