Full Job Description

Warrior Precast LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter for Custom Projects. This role involves supervising all special project-related employees and ensuring the proper installation of project contents as directed. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise all special project-related employees.
  • Ensure proper installation of project contents as directed.
  • Schedule installation and shipping of products in conjunction with the Supervisor.
  • Assign installation duties to appropriate subordinates.
  • Maintain a high level of teamwork among subordinates.
  • Ensure subordinates receive and maintain adequate training for project completion.
  • Ensure an adequate inventory of construction supplies is available for crews on each project.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment in a timely manner.
  • Perform field inspections for compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Interface with and educate building inspectors and customers.
  • Provide OSHA and state-required safety training to all subordinates.
  • Enforce subordinate compliance with all company safety policies.
  • Observe, evaluate, and critique daily operations.
  • Perform custom carpentry and other associated work when required.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned by Warrior PreCast LLC.


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to read production and/or customer blueprints.
  • Ability to operate tampers, transit, generators, and other equipment, including Total Station.
  • Ability to manually lay out job sites.
  • Proficiency in performing all duties of subordinates.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Effective management skills for supervising subordinates.
  • Ability to understand and perform official crane signals.
  • Maintain personal composure in the midst of a crisis.
  • Ability to hold privileged communications and information confidential.
  • Willingness to wear company-provided uniforms.
  • Willingness to work as required to meet daily schedules.
  • Good personal hygiene habits.


Experience Requirement:

  • Ability to drive a standard transmission 1-ton truck.
  • Possess and retain a valid driver’s license.


Education Requirement:

  • High School diploma.
  • High School graduate-level math skills, including algebraic and geometric application skills.

Schedule: 

  • Full time - Monday to Friday 


Work Location: 

  • Travel to work sites across Middle and Eastern Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, Northern Alabama, and Northern Georgia.
