We are currently looking for a Government IT Account Manager to serve our customers with their technology procurement needs. This individual will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of the Team's products.
This role is primarily onsite at our office 80% of the time and visiting accounts and conducting in-person business development out of office about 20% of the time (8-10 hours a week average), traveling to clients as required via company van or personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
Your Day as a Government IT Account Manager Will Consist of:
- Researching technology solutions for government clients
- Pricing and quoting technology solutions in accordance with government contracts and company pricing guidelines.
- Processing and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery of product and fulfilling client deliverables to ensure a WOW experience.
- Making phone calls and client site visits to maintain and increase the depth of your relationship as a trusted advisor with your clients.

Government IT Account Manager Key Responsibilities
Hook Clients Up with the Hardware & Tech Tools They Need
Success Metric: Generate $24,000 per month in average gross margin ($200,000 in average revenue)
Success Metric: Increase adoption of all product offerings by 5% month over month while maintaining product category adoption rate of 50%
Follow the Formula to Deliver a WOW Experience
Success Metric: All quotes must be acknowledged within 2 hours and delivered within 24 hours on the next business days
Success Metric: 100% of fulfillment of WOW Experience deliverables within 100 days of each new sale
Manage Clients & Their Technology Roadmaps
Success Metric: 20 phone conversations with IT contacts expected per month. 80% of all clients must be on track according to their technology roadmaps.
