Job Description:

Behavioral Health clinical supervisorwork asregistered nursesto care for and support patients receiving treatment for mental health disorders. Behavioral Health nursesevaluate the needs of their patients, and they administer treatments and engage in therapeutic interactions.

We are looking for a passionate Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our elite team of healthcare professionals and make a difference, one patient at a time.



Responsibilities:

  • Evaluatingmental healthneeds of patients.
  • Developing treatment plans.
  • Providing personal care.
  • Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention.
  • Coordinating with families, doctors, and other health professionals.
  • Administering medications.
  • Observing and recording patient behavior.
  • Performing physical exams and diagnostic tests.
  • Collecting patient health histories.
  • Maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Educating patients about treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license within state of practice required.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • 3 year of recent experience in acute care hospital setting strongly required
  • NURSING LEADERSHIP REQUIRED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • De-Escalation Certification required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English required, bilingual preferred.
