OVERVIEW:
Asgard Resources is a rapidly growing sand processing company located in rural North Dakota and Eastern Montana. We are looking for the right people to add to our team. Asgard is a leading provider of frac sand in North Dakota to oil and gas companies across the nation since 2019.
Asgard is seeking full-time Plant/Equipment Operators to maintain and operate a sand washing, sizing, and drying plant. This job will also include operating heavy equipment at times. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facilities so entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply. Primary place of work will be Froid, MT and/or Bainville, MT, but must be able to occasionally fill in at our other locations as needed. We operate with safety as a priority for our employees. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and adjust machines and conveyors to maintain and monitor flow and quality of sand
- Perform emergency, routine, and preventative maintenance on mining equipment and machines
- Troubleshoot breakdowns on plant equipment
- Assist with various construction projects as needed
- Perform other related duties and tasks as outlined by supervisor
- Compliance with MSHA safety standards and practice safe operations at all times
- Willingness to learn new skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous mechanical, mining, or heavy equipment operating experience is preferred, but not required
- Basic technical, maintenance, and mechanical skills preferred
- Ability to use basic hand tools, measuring tools, and labor tools
- Ability to communicate effectively; read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., shovel, and climb ladders/stairs
- Ability to work 8 to 12 hour days, and/or night shifts, most weekends, and O/T may be required
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependency and consistency
- Ability to work independently or with a partner
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
