REPORTS TO: CEO, Catholic Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the CEO of the Catholic Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts, the Annual Giving and Project Coordinator responsible for the execution of annual giving initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, strategic, professional and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills are essential. Candidates must have a high level of computer literacy, including experience using online databases and other sources to locate financial and philanthropic information, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, volunteers, Board members, clergy, donors, prospective donors, and vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee the creation and distribution of all collateral and marketing materials to include the design, production and distribution of print and online materials, and website updates as it relates to annual giving projects and initiatives.
· Coordinate organization of meetings, trainings, and recognition events as related to annual giving projects and initiatives.
· Work closely with database and online giving vendors.
· Foster appropriate and ongoing communication with donors, pastors, and other key diocesan lay leaders and clergy leaders.
· Assist pastors/parishes to reach their appeal goals by creating customized plans for outreach, acknowledgement, and pledge collection.
· Execute various stewardship initiatives.
· Serve as point person for all matters in donor and pastor relations as it pertains to annual giving.
· Produce reports for parishes, Finance and Foundation staff upon request.
Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study required.
· One to five years’ experience; preferably in a non-profit development office setting.
· An active, practicing Catholic that possess demonstrated understanding of the Catholic Church culture.
· Experience with fundraising or other CRM Software is preferred.
· Strong organization, time management, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral as well as the ability to effectively represent The Foundation to internal and external audiences, including the ability to speak passionately about the mission and goals.
· Strong ability to develop and execute plans.
· Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suites and demonstrated experience working with constituent resource management systems. Familiarity with email software and social media.
· Experience with events is desired.
· Ability to multi-task, work independently and within a team, be self-motivated, goal oriented and have a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work with diverse groups of people in an atmosphere of collaboration and service.
· Flexibility to assist with other projects as needed and willingness to learn as other foundation projects emerge.
· Reliable transportation with the ability to travel within Southeastern Massachusetts.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
