Optim Health System is seeking (2) full time Medical Coder(s) for our Savannah location.

Job Requirements:

  • Reviews orders for correct provider coding
  • Works with external surgery coders and operations to provide best practice coding
  • Creates training and documents on trending coding errors
  • Reviews payers for new coding initiatives
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Additional requirements:

  • Coding Experience, ideally in ortho, neuro spine and/or pain management.
  • Good working with the providers and able to identify coding trends within denials and re-educate the providers and staff.
