The Night Warehouse Manager will be accountable for the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of all Beechwood delivery trucks. Must manage and motivate a team of approximately 20 employees comprising of forklift operators & order selectors. Primary objectives include lowering operating costs through decreased breakage, increased productivity, and zero loading errors. This is an overnight schedule with hours starting Sunday 7:30 PM - 4 AM (Friday completion).

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision of staff in order selection and loading procedures
  • Manpower and Equipment planning
  • Ensure the proper upkeep of the warehouse
  • Supervise and direct the movement of delivery assets in preparation for loading
  • Inform management of equipment deficiencies
  • Assist in loading delivery trucks
  • Load invoicing through VIP software and file transmission to vendor partners
  • Administer Voice Pick oversight of software and assigned hardware
  • Ensure that accident / injury reports are filed promptly with adequate follow-up
  • Familiarity with OSHA and Company SOP
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or Supply Chain related major
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Experience in wholesale delivery and/or warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of computer systems
  • Managerial experience

Critical Physical Demands:

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business equipment including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, telephone, adding machine and copier
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack, scissor lift
  • Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
  • Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
  • Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on a regular basis
