Role and Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning:
    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
    • Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges.
    • Collaborate with the estimating team to develop accurate project cost estimates.
  2. Project Execution and Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of project execution, including procurement, scheduling, subcontractor management, and quality control.
    • Communicate regularly with clients and serve as primary point of contact providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
    • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, disruptions, and financial losses.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, change orders, and correspondence.
    • Lead and motivate project teams, including field crews, subcontractors, and support staff, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and specifications.
    • Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deficiencies.
    • Document and communicate project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Safety Compliance:
    • Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  5. Client Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Identify opportunities for additional services or project expansions to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the roofing or construction industry.
  • A great attitude, strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a desire to advance are a must.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
