The car dealership receptionist serves as the primary contact person to greet visitors by phone and in person.
Responsibilities:* Greet customers and determine the nature of their visit.* Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate department or individual that a customer is waiting.* Answers incoming phone calls. Directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message.* Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.* Communicates messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.* Responsible for processing credit card payments for customers and documenting payment received.* Responsible for distributing license plates to customers on a daily basis, and asking for appropriate ID for verification purposes.* Other tasks as assigned.* Required working hours: Mon-Sat 4 pm - 9 pm.
Qualifications:* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Requires excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with customers.* Requires the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.* Must present a professional personal appearance at all times and a polished communication style.* Requires appropriate phone handling and etiquette for polite conversation with customers.* Requires excellent interpersonal skills to relate easily with people of various backgrounds and personalities.* Must be punctual.* Must be willing and able to work various schedules.* Must pass a pre-employment screening and background check.* Must pass a pre-employment drug test.* Obtain a clean driving record and a valid Texas driver's license.
