Reports To: KGO Dir. of PM & Client’s PM

Position Overview: The Project Manager (Client Representative for Infrastructure / Site Utility Construction) is responsible for managing and overseeing project performance to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Responsible for planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or deviations from the plan.
    • Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  2. Cost Control and Budget Management:
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of costs and expenditures.
    • Perform cost forecasting and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Ensure all financial aspects of the project are aligned with the approved budget.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
    • Monitor and report on risk status throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve risk-related issues.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Develop and implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project performance.
    • Prepare regular project status reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and risk assessments.
    • Present project performance data to senior management and stakeholders.
  5. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
    • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Support audits and reviews as needed.
  6. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
    • Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project control, project management, or a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or similar certification is a plus.

Skills:

  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles related to project management.
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
