Our team has extensive experience in master planning, site development, and overseeing construction for water, wastewater, and drainage projects for various municipalities and governmental entities in South Texas.

We are looking to hire a Civil Engineer E.I.T. - Public Works in our Corpus Christi office. This position involves supporting land and site clients by designing solid projects and providing high-quality services.


What you will do:

  • Assist in the design of land and site developments, including infrastructure, paving, and drainage.
  • Coordinate Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations, schedules, and submittals.
  • Engage in hands-on design work.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, manage client relationships, and work with utility owners to ensure project timelines are met and regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Collaborate with the project team to achieve client goals.
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews of agreements, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and invoices to ensure they meet client standards.
  • Perform project records research, manage design and utility company contacts, and prepare related documentation.
  • Assist in preparing client deliverables, project guides, reviews, invoices, and expense reports
  • Manage utility permitting and monitor project schedule progress.
  • Develop project cost estimates.
  • Provide support for additional design requirements as necessary.
  • Coordinate with environmental sub-consultants.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 3-5+ years of residential and municipality experience
  • Proficiency in CIVIL3D software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, initiative, effective teamwork, adaptability, accountability, and ability to seek guidance when needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capability to collaborate with project teams, engage in creative and critical thinking, and communicate ideas and solutions effectively.
  • Proven organizational skills and proactive time management.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and taking on new project types.
  • Ability to identify technical issues and implement corrective actions using professional judgment and innovative solutions.
