Hansen Talent Group is hiring an IT Vendor and Contract Admin to work with a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require 1-2 days onsite/week.

This position is focused on working close with Internal Business Owners (IBOs) as we implement new agreements, renew agreements or deal with vendor issues and questions. The best candidates will be able to review contracts, find challenges and risks in them and work with the IBOs and vendors to resolve them.

Success requires excellent communication skills in depth contracts knowledge and experience as well as great negotiating skills.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement the strategic sourcing and IT vendor relationship strategies.
  • Work closely within IT to serve as the IT point of contact for product and service contract support, analysis, and negotiations.
  • Responsible for the financial practices and procedures associated with the management of these contracts.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of all technical product and service needs across the enterprise. Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and/or contractual modeling techniques.
  • Able to maintain knowledge of changing technologies.
  • Able to support multiple contracts and complex enterprise agreements.
  • Able to be creative in recommending contracts that offer the best near- and long-term value for IT.
